Anodising without a doubt looks superb and can be offered as a cosmetic upgrade for most models of USD forks as well as some conventional models. It also however provides a practical purpose on forks in that it is very hard wearing and durable, much like titanium nitriding and so will not chip flake or peel which ultimately reduces wear and deposits in your oil which will prolong seal and oil life.
